Black Bean Brownies
This ones for our health-conscious families who have a sweet tooth! We saw recipe featured by Yuri Elkaim and as always love utilizing our Domaya blender. The brownies are gluten free and full of good fibres, so we simply had to share this guilt-free treat to enjoy with the whole family.
Ingredients:
- 1 large egg (or vegan flax egg)
- 1 15oz can of low sodium black beans (rinse and drain)
- ½ a large avocado
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup coconut sugar
- ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ⅓ cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Get an 8x8 inch baking pan and oil or spray it with oil of your choosing.
- Add the egg, black beans, avocado, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, coconut oil and baking powder into your Domaya blender and blend until you see a smooth batter.
- Throw in the chocolate chips and pour batter into the baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until center of the brownies is set.
- Let cool completely and serve!
